In New York, you’ll be walking along and suddenly see these little Fire Houses. The first one, Engine Co. 16, is in the east 30’s. I love the lettering font they used on the building. The other one, is down in Greenwich Village. These Fire Houses stand in such sharp contrast to their vertiginous steel neighbors. It’s another part of New York’s charm – you never know what will be around the corner.
