Last Friday, I went to the lovely – and surprising – Byrant Park. I knew of it from fashion shows and Ab Fab, but really had no idea how cute it was in real life. You can grab a table and chairs dotted around the green, grab a coffee and sandwich from Wichcraft and if you’re feeling sporty, play some ping pong. Ping pong! How rad is that? There are a couple of tables and people are given’ ‘er.
They have a great open patio bar at one end of the park. It’s behind the New York Public Library and is full of boozy, fashionable peeps. There is also a schnazzy restaurant next to said bar that looks out onto the green.
Bryant Park does all manner of cool things in the summer, like show movies. You can bring a picnic and lounge on the grass, in the middle of New York! What? Loving it.
