Big Bambu – Metropolitan Museum of Art Rooftop

Oh, Metropolitan Museum of Art, you offer us New Yorkers so much. I was there to view the awesomest exhibit ever – The Big Bambu. It made a little corner of Manhattan feel like an exotic tree house. You could actually go and walk through it. There were dudes up there constantly tethering pieces of bambu together (not just bamboo….it was for the MET afterall), listening to music, rocking out. With the sweltering heat all I needed was Leonardo di Caprio up there saying to me ‘Hey, will you pass me another piece of rope? We’re going to have a rave up here tonight. Need to make sure this bamboo is solid. Slam some tequila shots with me later?’ I digress.
