The Comme des Garcons store on 22nd Street and 10th Avenue is one of the coolest I’ve ever seen. That is, if you can find it. Nestled in amongst walls of graffiti and bric-a-brac wall art, is the Star Wars like entrance to the mother ship of the delightful world of C of G. The space is cool, clean and white – with dashes of metal, huge mirrors and the occasional curving wall in black. If you want the total black Comme des Garcons experience, that tiny gem, like a black box theatre, is at 17th Street and 10th Avenue. My favorite pieces are the ‘heart eyes’ t-shirts and sweatshirts – which is the eponymous logo of the brand. はい、お願いします!
